The history of video games is not too old. It all began in the late 1970’s to the 1980s with the release of arcade video games, gaming consoles and home computer games to the general public. If we go back few more years from here, it will tell us, in the early 1940s-1950s, the concept of video games came from the scholars’ research in the field of computer science, when they began to design simple games, simulations, and artificial intelligence programs, as part of their research. However, the popularity of video games in the mainstream resulted in 1970s and 1980s.
